Tour Paramedic Ride 10th Anniversary Sponsorship Campaign

Paramedics persevere despite seeing the worst kinds of tragedy one can imagine. Across Canada, 55 paramedics – civilian, military, search and rescue - to date have lost their lives in the line of duty while serving their country and their community. Participants come together for our annual cycling event to honour the memories of medics who died while serving Canadians with pride - making the ultimate sacrifice.

Our rides\events that take place in several provinces across Canada give paramedics opportunities to come together to remember and share their stories.  Our events provide a conduit for our peers to speak up about occupational mental health trauma\injury.  While together, we pause to recognize our peers either off work or still on the job, that are suffering in silence.

Our main goal is to help the Canadian Paramedic Memorial Foundation erect a national paramedic monument in Ottawa so that families, colleagues, friends and the general public can have a place to memorialize those lost in the line of duty.  While that remains our main goal, ten years after our initial TPR ride in 2013, we have expanded our outreach to support charitable organizations that offer services to paramedics that may be struggling.

We are asking you to support our cause and make the 10th anniversary of the Tour Paramedic Ride the best edition to date.  While we collect registration fees from our riders, sponsors’ contributions help to support the costs of running our events.  Corporate sponsorship combined with rider registration allows TPR to provide a “ride to remember”, while also supporting causes close to our hearts.

In 2023, we are hosting rides in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia, with the potential for more rides in other provinces as well.  Our rides have brought together people of all walks to bolster and encourage paramedics from Canada and the U.S.A. Everyone who has taken part will tell you that our rides have helped build an expanded family for our participants.  We hope that you too would want to take part in our rides and encourage some of your organization’s representatives. We look forward to seeing them!
